The library is an enormous resource for the OPG which includes over 400 books, over 100 DVD/Videos and many periodicals. The books I love include:
The Unknown Craftsman: A Japanese Insight Into Beauty
by Soesu Yanagi
Hamada, Potter by Bernard Leach
Out of the Earth, into the Fire: A Course in Ceramic
Materials for the Studio Potter by Mimi Obstler
Warren Mackenzie: An American Potter by David Lewis
Just to name a few. I am partial to books which focus on the artistic process so any of the Robin Hopper books I loved so much that I purchased my own copies. Currently I have three books on my night stand in circulation. I find reading about craft including the biographies about the craftsmen more enlightening than just examining their work alone. For me it's all part of the process.
