CraftCurrents: Contemporary Craft in Northern Ontario  - touring until March 2012

The Ontario Crafts Council’s inaugural Northern Ontario touring exhibition, CraftCurrents, has been exhibited in Fort Frances and is now on the second stop of the tour at the Thunder Bay Art Gallery. Taking place as part of Growing Ontario’s Craft Community, this round of regional programming has offered new challenges, but has also certainly resulted in new achievements. Moving from focusing for a year each in Eastern and Southwestern Ontario, programming in the north has proved to be an experience in opening new doors, and has expanded our knowledge of the broad scope of member needs.
