"What a great space--especially the entrance area.  Also, it seemed to me that the larger room allowed more space around the individual displays than at the Hellenic Centre.  I thought the quality of the work was outstanding."

Judy Deegan, President, Canadian Ceramic Circle

Next Sale: April 12 - 15, 2012

It's Spring. Time once again for the Ottawa Guild of Potters to present our latest creations to you.  As you may have learned, the Spring Exhibition and Sale has moved to the beautiful Shenkman Arts Centre in Orleans. Starting on Thursday April 28 at 6 pm, the events begin with an Exhibition vernissage, juried by renowned potter Bill Reddick. You will also be asked to vote for the People's Choice Award at that time.

Throughout the event we will be demonstrating how to throw and handbuild in clay, the first steps of our craft. This spring, our charity pots will support the Gloucester Association for Children with Special Needs.

Win a free mug!

A raffle draw will be held several times during the sale and the winner will receive a free handcrafted mug. Free raffle tickets will be available during the sale at Shenkman Centre.

Parking

There are several locations you can park when coming to the Shenkman Arts Centre.

1. North side of building – Our main parking lot is at the rear of the facility. This lot, coupled with the one behind 255 Centrum (old City Hall) contains 199 parking spots (the only accessible parking spots for the building are located right by the North doors). This lot can be accessed via a road that lies between the Shenkman Arts Centre and the Royal Bank.

2. South side of building – The businesses on Centrum blvd employ a shared parking model. What this means is that you can use the parking spaces for any business (except the RBC parking lot) when coming for an event at the Shenkman Arts Centre.

3. East side of the building – There is an underground parking lot underneath 255 Centrum. This lot features approx 60-70 spaces and is accessible by taking the road to the rear of our building and continuing until you get to the east side of 255 Centrum.
