When we can get back to in-person meetings, they will be held at:
Time: 6:30 - 9:00 pm (library is open from 6:30 - 7:15 pm)
Where: Hintonburg Community Centre, Laroche Room, 1064 Wellington St, Ottawa K1Y 2Y3
The library is open to members prior to the meeting. A large selection of DVDs, periodicals and books are available to members to borrow for one month and returned at the following meeting.
Each meeting begins with a Business meeting from 6:30 - 7:30 pm followed by a guest speaker, networking or social event. An agenda and introduction to the speaker or event will be emailed at least 7 days prior to the meeting via the Forum.
The Business meeting provides updates to current Guild events, announcements and the opportunity to discuss issues of concern to the membership. This meeting is chaired by the President. If you wish to have an item on the agenda send it to the President at least 10 days prior to the meeting.
Guest speakers provide mini-workshop opportunities presenting techniques and topics of interest.
Networking is an important component of every meeting - get to know each other and hear about learning opportunities.
Members of the Ottawa Guild of Potters meet every second Monday of the month. Please join us for a meeting if you are considering becoming a member. The Workshops & Speakers Committee is proud to present "Makers Making: Speakers Series" a year of presentations to introduce and celebrate potters in our Guild. The series will touch on personal stories, travel experiences, technical breakthroughs, and other professional knowledge that will inspire and touch us all.
